TERMS & CONDITIONS
(Taco Loco Cantina – Mt Albert & Taco Loco Westmere – Westmere)
1. Booking confirmation
A Food Truck catering booking is confirmed once the hire/travel fee has been paid. This fee covers travel, setup, and operational logistics for the event.
2. Hire/travel fee & payment
The hire/travel fee is non‑refundable and required to secure the booking.
Full catering payment (minimum spend or agreed package) must be completed by the date stated on the invoice.
Late payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
3. Cancellation policy
• Cancellations made 14+ days before the event: hire/travel fee is retained.
• Cancellations made within 14 days: full catering payment may be charged.
• Weather‑related cancellations are assessed case‑by‑case; Taco Loco will work with the client to reschedule where possible.
4. Service area & travel fees
Food Truck catering is available within Auckland.
Additional travel fees may apply depending on distance, access difficulty, or special site requirements.
5. Site access & requirements
Clients must ensure the event location provides:
• Safe and legal parking space for the truck
• Adequate access for arrival and departure
• Compliance with council or venue regulations
• If access is restricted or unsafe, Taco Loco may refuse service without refund.
6. Menu & service conditions
Menu selections must be confirmed at least 7 days before the event.
Dietary requirements must be communicated in advance.
Menu substitutions or special requests may incur additional charges.
7. Minimum spend
A minimum spend applies to all Food Truck catering bookings.
If the event does not reach the minimum spend, the difference will be charged.
8. Weather & operational safety
In extreme weather or unsafe conditions, Taco Loco may pause, modify, or cancel service.
Safety of staff, equipment, and guests is the priority.
9. Alcohol service
Alcohol service is only provided if agreed in advance and must comply with NZ licensing laws.
Taco Loco reserves the right to refuse service to intoxicated guests.
10. Fraudulent or unauthorised payments
If a booking is paid using a stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorised credit/eftpos card, Taco Loco reserves the right to:
• Cancel the booking immediately
• Refuse service on the event day
• Request additional proof of purchase or identity
• Recover costs for any goods or services already provided
• Taco Loco may cooperate with banks, payment processors, and law enforcement in investigating fraudulent transactions.
11. Liability
Taco Loco is not liable for:
• Venue‑related issues
• Damages caused by guests or third parties
• Delays caused by traffic, road closures, or unforeseen events
• Liability is limited to the value of the catering service purchased.
12. Changes to terms
Taco Loco may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies.
